As one of the fastest growing businesses in the UK, Itek's client was experiencing significant increases in the number of emails it was receiving and recognised the impact that emails were having on the server and the company's bandwidth.
Itek responded quickly by implementing its Remotely Mail system with dramatic effects.
Over the whole month of June we can see that a total of 230,780 emails were sent
to the organisation.
179,007 of these emails were marked as definate spam and were deleted.
20,269 were marked as likely spam so were quarantined and reported to users
564 contained viruses so were deleted.
142 were marked as likely containing viruses so were quarantined and reported to users.
30,798 were classed as good email and delivered to the proper mailbox.
So in essence, just over 17% of the email received throughout June was classed as good email and delivered to the correct mailbox and a staggering 83% was blocked by our system and prevented from entering theirs!
